B2 size new work drawing☆

Hello everyone☆

I started working on a new piece of work in B2 size (728mm x 515mm) two days ago~☆

Last November, there was a large exhibition event called the "Japan Paper Cutout Art Exhibition" held in Ueno, Tokyo, and I join it for the first time.

It was a lot of fun because I learned a lot by seeing so many different paper cutting works up close in a large space. I'm glad I was able to go to Tokyo too!!

So, I'm hoping that I'll be able to join again this year, and I've started working on creating larger pieces little by little.

This is one of two pieces on display and is inspired by the arrival of spring.

The image is of a winter fairy admiring the first spring flowers growing in a greenhouse.

It's only half done, but I'm hoping to finish the drawing by the end of this week.

By the way, for large pieces I basically draw with a mechanical pencil, trace over it with a black pen, then cut it out with a design knife and color it.

This time I'm thinking of using black, blue, grey and other colors for the outside to express the cold.

I'll report back on the progress along the way too.

Well, have a wonderful day today♪♪
